AUDITION PROCESS AND DATES

Our casting process will be open, fair and clearly communicated. This is an overview of the process that auditionees will follow:

  1. Non-company members submit video auditions to be selected for the company audition. Video auditions should be via unlisted YouTube channel. Submit between 30 Aug and 13 Sept.

  2. Workshop auditions to form the company for LesMisérables. This will be an informal workshop style audition. This will include members of Nottingham Operatic Society, Carlton Operatic Society, TheCast and successful applicants from the video submissions.

This process will inform the casting of ensemble roles, specifically those with solo lines. It will also establish the full company for the production.

Existing company members of the collaborating societies will not automatically secure a place in the Les Misérables company.

Only successful applicants from the company auditions will be allowed to audition for principal roles.

  3. Principal auditions first round

  4. Principal second round auditions

  5. Possible final call

  6. Casting announcement
