Nottingham Operatic Society is celebrating its 100th year of performing at the Theatre Royal in spectacular fashion.

We are excited and honoured to have been asked to be one of 11 lead societies invited to produce:

“LET THE PEOPLE SING”

In celebration
of the 40th Anniversary of
Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer

Nottingham Operatic Society will work in collaboration with

Carlton Operatic Society

The Cast

Theatre Royal, Nottingham

in a region-wide community project aimed at celebrating the world’s

favourite musical, Les Misérables

What a fantastic way to celebrate two anniversaries!

Our production of the full show will take place at

the Theatre Royal, Nottingham running
27-31 May 2025, with 9 performances in total.

We will hold open auditions in November, and casting information / venues

Nottingham Operatic Society’s next show is ‘Guys and Dolls’, opening at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham on 29 October 2024.

We will also return to the Theatre Royal in October 2025, with a production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.
